Privacy Policy
Things take time (the “App”) is developed by Chester How. This policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.
Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers.
All data you create in the App — including trackers, notes, and any information you choose to input — is stored locally on your device.
Because the App allows flexible tracking (e.g. habits, time, weight, notes, counts), you may choose to enter sensitive information. This data remains fully under your control and is not accessed by the developer.
iCloud Sync
For users who enable paid features, data may be synced using Apple’s iCloud services.
- iCloud is provided by Apple Inc.
- Data synced via iCloud is subject to Apple’s privacy policies and terms
- The developer does not have access to your iCloud data
- Storage location and handling are managed entirely by Apple
Accounts
The App does not require account creation. No email, login, or personal identifiers are collected by the App.
Analytics and Tracking
The App does not use:
- Analytics services
- Crash reporting tools
- Advertising SDKs
- Third-party tracking technologies
Permissions
The App does not request access to:
- Location
- Camera or Photos
- Contacts
- Health data
- Notifications
Payments
The App may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store. The developer does not receive or store your payment information.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. No personal data is knowingly collected from children.
Data Security
Since your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud, its security depends on:
- Your device security settings
- Apple’s iCloud infrastructure
The developer does not have access to or control over your stored data.
Your Control
You have full control over your data:
- You can delete data at any time within the App
- Deleting the App removes locally stored data from your device
- iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings
